Beyond Face Presents: A New Writing Scratch Night
Beyond Face’s New Writing Scratch Night is an evening of short plays written by members of We are Here to Write, Beyond Face’s long-running writers’ group for South West based writers. The scripts are workshopped and rehearsed by Beyond Face’s Artistic Director and guest directors and then performed by professional actors. These performances will be your first chance to delve into these new stories. The best way as a writer to know how their writing connects with an audience is to have it performed to an audience, so come along and help shape the stories of tomorrow.

MORE INFORMATION
This year’s event will showcase stories set across the south-west from Cornwall to Bristol and spanning history from 1940s Plymouth to the summer of 2020. There are plays infused with magical realism and a verbatim look at the lead up to the fall of the Edward Colston statue. There will also be an opportunity to provide your feedback to the writers post-show, and support them in taking their plays to the next stage.
