Doorstep Arts is an educational organisation, and the working practice is grounded in action research methodology which considers young people as co-researchers in a process of mutual curiosity, inquiry and exploration. We believe that the fields of educational theatre, participatory arts and applied theatre need to be as open and reflective as possible, in order to better share various forms of best practice, and to support the artistic work to be strong and experimental. To this end, we regularly try to share our ongoing thoughts, reflections, evaluations, and discussions through this website. We also share our policies and procedures, in the belief that sharing our practice and learning from each other makes the field stronger.
