What your donation would mean for children & young people in Torbay...
Over 1 in 5 children grow up in low-income households, and around ⅓ of families are at risk of falling into poverty in Torbay.
These pressures mean many young people miss out on creative and social opportunities but your donation would help us to remove those barriers and ensure every child can take part, belong and thrive!

Sessions are fun and creative allowing individuality and broaden imagination . Both of my children enjoy the drama and musical theatre sessions and have been. attending for a long time .

All the performers looked like they were really enjoying themselves. You could tell a lot of hard work had gone into the show and it definitely paid off. We will absolutely be going to watch the next performance!

Genuinely, the Doorstep gang change the lives of children who have little to no other contact with “the arts”. The confidence and joy the kids get from the DAS sessions is almost miraculous, such is their passion, energy, patience and infectiously joyful approach. I’ve seen it first hand with my own daughter, from crippling shy 6 yr old to singing and dancing at front of stage with a radio mic by 9 yrs old. Doorstep arts are heroes!!

Doorstep Arts all work so hard, the kids grow in independence, skill, confidence and kindness. The older kids support and mentor the younger ones and the entire thing is totally inspiring and heart warming. Thank you all for being totally fantastic! X

I have watched my child grow in confidence and self esteem, strongly encouraged and support by the Doorstep family. They provide a safe space for young people to step out of their comfort zone and take theatrical risks. During lockdown the weekly online meetings provided some routine and stability for the young people, which are a huge difference. I think the only reason my child will leave Doorstep Arts is when they reach the upper age limit!!

The children were clearly having the best time and the talent and professionalism from such a young cast was staggering. Massive well done to all , my young children were inspired to get involved too which is fantastic. Easy 5 stars. Look forward to the next production!
