From One Theatre to Another is a sponsored walk aimed at raising funds for Doorstep Arts’ upcoming production of Chitty.

Starting Point: Brixham Theatre, Brixham Town Hall, New Road, Brixham, TQ5 8TA
Route:
The walk will start at The Brixham Theatre, continue to The Palace Theatre (Paignton), include a pit stop at St Paul’s Church Hall (Preston) and finish at The Princess Theatre (Torquay).
What to Expect
Family Fun
This is an event for the whole family. Children, young people and adults are all welcome to join the Doorstep Team. You are welcome to walk the full route or join us for part of the walk, every step counts! We will keep you updated on our social media throughout the day, so you can easily join us from Paignton to Torquay if you wish.
Sponsorship Options
Participants can be sponsored in one of two ways:
- Cash Sponsorship
A sponsorship form can be found here as a PDF or a Word Doc, and children will also receive a hard copy in sessions. Cash donations should be returned after the walk, in a sealed labelled envelope and brought to sessions. - Online Donations
Families and sponsors can donate directly via our donate page on the Doorstep Arts website.
When donating online, please ask sponsors to include the participant’s name in the message/comments box so we can track donations.
Participants may use either or both methods.
We’ll have music playing to keep spirits high and energy flowing as we walk together. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the walk to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Your participation and support will directly contribute to the fundraising of our upcoming productions and help us continue making a meaningful impact on the local arts scene.
