Down Stage Write are teaming up with Doorstep Arts and Torbay Libraries for a ‘Playwriting Bootcamp’ designed to give you the tools to write a short play.

You might not have written much, but love novels, films, or plays. You might have already written a play, and want to know what you should do next. These FREE workshops are designed for 16-25 year olds of any experience.  

Join Jon and Sam for writing exercises, techniques and games that will help you learn:

There will be two FREE workshop sessions:

Saturday 22nd January 2022 10-1pm 

Saturday 29th January 2022 10-1pm 

These sessions will be hosted at Paignton Library. 

At the end of the workshops, writers will be invited to submit their short play to Down Stage Write, and get written feedback from a team of professional script readers.
