We are One Step Theatre, an environmentally focussed arts organisation. Our performances offer an opportunity for young people to include their voices in current environmental conversations within their local community.

 

For our next project, Ears to the Ground, we’re looking for a group of 14-18 year olds to work with us to create an original outdoor performance this summer.

We’re particularly keen to work with young people who are passionate about performing and/or have an interest in the environment.

 

No experience is necessary, just an interest and enthusiasm to explore with us!

Over four days (9th, 10th, 13th & 14th August) we will work with our participants to create place responsive audio and movement performances to be presented to a live audience on the 15th August at an outdoor location in Exeter.

 

What’s involved?

1 online workshop session before rehearsals begin

4 days of outdoor rehearsals on Monday 9th August, Tuesday 10th August, Friday 13th August & Saturday 14th August

1 day of performances on Sunday 15th August

Travelling to an outdoor location within Exeter for rehearsals and the performances
