Photos from the Easter holidays intensive on 11 April 2026, which brought together the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang across the age groups, from the youngest (6) up to the oldest (20).
What a day! We absolutely love these full rehearsal events. They’re a wonderful mix of nerves, excitement and the magic of seeing songs, scenes and devised work start to come together. The children did such a fantastic job.
We always begin with games, as it can feel quite overwhelming for young people coming together, especially when they don’t know everyone. With over 70 children in the room, it was a full and lively space! We were so impressed by how professional everyone was, ready for their cues and singing their hearts out. Honestly, they sound incredible.
With one more term to go, we’re now focused on bringing the whole show together. We are so proud of the commitment and support the children show one another throughout the process.
These productions are so important for young people’s development in the arts. They encourage problem solving, teamwork, responsiveness and the confidence to step outside of their comfort zones.
