The Snow Queen & Family Crafting Event

Tuesday 20th December, Palace Avenue Methodist Church, Paignton, TQ3 3EQ, Book a Ticket
Price: Pay what you decide

An icy storm is brewing across Dartmoor. In the houses down below, two friends Gerda and Kay are growing up, but growing apart. As the snow falls and their argument builds, is there more to this icy flurry than first meets the eye? ❄

Above Bounds Theatre Collective presents The Snow Queen by Lottie Finklaire, a work-in-progress performance of a brand new adaptation inspired by the original tale, the content of which was created with (and for) young people. We’ve worked with Doorstep Arts Saturday Drama this term who have helped us to stage the performance- from deciding the Casting briefs, to informing the Set & Puppetry design and steering the musical composition- come and see how the performance has developed. This performance is best suited for ages 7-13 and accompanying adult, but is suitable for younger and older siblings to join.

After you have seen the show with Above Bounds, we invite you to stay for a while and enjoy some family Christmas Crafting with the Doorstep Arts team – making your very own reindeer food, Christmas card making, eat some mince pies, buy a hot drink and more.

1st Performance & Craft Session 12:30pm – 2.30pm

2nd Performance & Craft Session 3:00pm – 5:00pm

? These events are ‘Pay What you Decide’. Pay What You Decide allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price. If you are able to pay a little bit more, please do! If you can spare £3, then that too is totally fine.
