Robberfly: The Life Cycle of the Devon Red Legged Robber Fly
A performance like no other – featuring a live DJ and cutting-edge soundtrack, dance, theatre and circus.
Staged on and around a striking 6 metre biomechanical sculpture, created from a salvaged Apache Piper aircraft fuselage, the performance take audiences on a journey to explore the metamorphosis of the Robber Fly.
The fly pupae struggle as they fight to emerge, only 1 will survive! The survivor emerges from its cocoon, escaping its earthly bounds and transforming itself into a winged Diva! Once transformed, it meets many weird and wonderful creatures in its search for love…
The show is a celebration of insects and their metamorphosis. It’s time to fly!
