National Youth Theatre Audition Prep Session

Doorstep Arts are teaming up with National Youth Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth to run a free training opportunity for young people taking part in our most senior Studio Course on Tuesday evenings.

The Auditions Access Fund is a grant which supports free drama workshops and audition days across the UK, for young people with limited access to the arts.

This 2-hour workshop will focus on acting techniques that can be used for scene work and auditions and will serve as an introduction to National Youth Theatre; a world leading youth arts organisation committed to nurturing the talent of young performers.

Following this workshop, if this is something you’re interested in, there will be a further audition piece workshops and the chance to audition for National Youth Theatre for FREE in Plymouth.

Please note, you must be aged 14+ to audition for National Youth Theatre.

The workshop will be led by Sam Parker; a Doorstep Arts Emerging Teaching Artist and Theatre Royal Plymouth practitioner who is currently working for National Youth Theatre as a Centre Stage Creative.
