Joy Scrolling! Magic Lantern and Crankie Show

Travel back in time to the days before cinema, when people would gather together in the parlour or theatre to watch a Magic Lantern show or enjoy a moving picture story on a scroll, otherwise known as a crankie, and sometimes a panorama.

Join crankie maker and singer, Wendy Dacre and Magic Lanternist, Richard Crangle and be transported in your imagination to other places and times through painted slides projected through light with Magic Lanterns along with beautifully, hand made moving story scrolls, or Crankies.

Suitable for all ages from 7 to 107. Tickets on pay-what-you-feel basis.
