What do you get when you cross a headless chicken, a hoedown, and a heap of outrageous farmyard fun? You get CLUCK! – the brand-new musical comedy from Devon’s Stowaway Theatre. Inspired by the unbelievable true story of Mike the Headless Chicken – who lived for 18 months without a head in 1940’s Colorado – this musical romp is packed with live music, puppetry, audience games, and more chicken puns than you can shake a drumstick at.

CLUCK! promises a hilarious, toe-tapping 45 minutes that will leave audiences of all ages grinning from beak to beak.

Stowaway Theatre is a female led actor-musician theatre company based in Devon. Formed in 2023, we create exciting actor-musician theatre inspired by historical true stories that have either been lost, forgotten or just haven’t had the platform we think they deserve! Our debut show ‘40 Elephants’ had its first performance in early 2024 (with the support of Arts Council England) and we are keen to continue growing our shows and company with the aim of bringing high quality Actor-Musician theatre to the South West and beyond.
