Saturday 4th April, Torre Abbey, Find Out More

This Easter, Doorstep Arts are delighted to have been invited to collaborate with our partners at Torre Abbey to celebrate their participation in The National Gallery’s ‘Art on your Doorstep’ national touring project, bringing iconic art works from the National Gallery to Torquay!

On Saturday 4th April, members of our groups including Saturday Drama and Doorstep Youth Theatre, will perform in the Abbey grounds, sharing live short scenes inspired by the artworks, as well as launching some audio recordings that will be made available on our website for members of the public and visitors to Torquay. Following the performances, we will also be inviting our Doorstep families to join us for a picnic on the lawn, and some songs from members of our ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ cast!
