Our Tuesday Juniors were bursting with energy and imagination this term as they brought The Genie and the Lamp to life in their own vibrant way. This group explored a new style of storytelling, using recorded narration to guide the audience through their performance. This approach gave them the freedom to move from scene to scene without the pressure of memorising lines, and it really allowed their creativity to shine.
The children threw themselves into the piece, from bold characters to the smallest details, and the result was a performance full of joy, confidence and heart. Every child had a moment to shine, which is always our goal.
We rounded off the sharing with a chance for families to get involved in some interactive games, a lovely way for them to see how we create work with the group and how much creativity and confidence their children bring to the space. It was such a special way to end the term. They should all be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved!
