Images from the backstage world – insights into the process of making Chitty Chitty Bang Bang come to life in August 2026. The cast and crew of 120 children and young people worked across the week of 3-7 August to stage a double-header production at the Palace Theatre Paignton. Huge thanks to the Palace Theatre team for all their support across the week – especially to Clive Simmons for his tech mentorship of the entirely young person-led tech team. The Make It Happen Crew did a brilliant job of providing lighting & sound for the final show.
