JSA Theatre: ‘His Father’s Son’ premiere

Emerging theatre company JSA Theatre will be premiering their new original show His Father’s Son at Ashburton Arts Centre this evening (Tuesday 11 June) at 6.30pm. Tickets are available online, via the Ashburton Arts Centre website. This work has been funded by a First Steps Touring Bursary offered by Doorstep Arts and Villages in Action.

 

Show synopsis:

Tyler is just trying to be 15 and get through school, but his dad has really high expectations. Sometimes his dad doesn’t listen. Blink and Tyler is a man. Blink again and Tyler is a dad. This show is a time lapse photo which comes to life, set against a lavish soundtrack of contemporary music. Follow one family’s journey across 30 years, told in 30 minutes.
