Secondary schools in Torbay and Devon can get involved with our Open Doors Outreach programme through three key offers:
A theatre and wellbeing education program which uses active learning. This program supports early intervention and awareness by increasing knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing in young people. It reduces stigma and improves awareness of self-resilience and coping strategies. It also cultivates a safe learning environment for participants to understand and connect with their emotions through drama and creative practice.
Available either as a 3-week Foundation programme or a more intensive 6-week Residency. Please contact email@example.com to find out more. Download a PDF with full details here.
The Doorstep Platform strand bring touring theatre into non-traditional theatre spaces. Our team are currently working to develop small-scale offers for schools which can be safely done within social distancing guidelines. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
A schools outreach programme that runs annually every Jan/Feb, providing devising support from visiting professional artists in schools, & a shared platform for Year 8, 9, 10, 11 and Sixth Form students to take to the stage and perform at the Exeter Northcott Theatre.
